Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jarod Bressler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Park Jeung! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jeung shoots in and bounces Bressler off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Bressler looking to control.
Jeung advances to half guard. Jeung is figuring out what he wants to do next. Nice strikes from Jeung there. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jeung connects with a nice short shot to Bressler's temple. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jeung controlling the action here. Jeung drops an elbow to the side of Bressler's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jeung sitting and controlling from the half guard. Jeung wants to pass the guard but Bressler is defending well. Bressler on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jeung has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jeung is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Nice strikes from Jeung there. Jeung seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jeung decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jeung just misses with a punch to the body.
Jeung looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bressler lands a jab to the head.
Jeung feints and as Bressler raises his hands in defense, Jeung changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jeung is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bressler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jeung chips away with some ground and pound. Jeung stands and throws Bressler's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jeung is putting a hurting on Bressler here, landing some big shots from side control. You can see the frustration on Bressler's face as Jeung controls the position. Jeung is chipping away with strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jeung scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bressler to see if he's OK. Jeung working the ground and pound from side control. Jeung stands up and we're back to a striking position. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bressler. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jeung closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bressler did well to prevent Jeung getting side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bressler has hold of Jeung's hands but Jeung slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Park Jeung dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Jeung throws a sloppy head kick and Bressler moves out of range easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jeung. Jeung shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bressler lands with a nice body punch. Bressler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jeung.
Jeung tries for a takedown but Bressler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jarod Bressler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Park Jeung. Jeung misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jeung leaves Bressler with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. It seemed like Jeung was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Jeung is looking to clinch but Bressler is avoiding it.
Jeung shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bressler pinned against the ropes. Bressler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bressler tries to counter with a takedown but Jeung is quick to defend against it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jeung gets a clinch. Bressler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bressler swats away the attempt to clinch by Jeung. Jeung fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bressler sprawls well initially but Jeung persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jeung trying to control the pace. Jeung scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jeung scoring with strikes to the body and head. Jeung seems to be working for a kimura but Bressler defends the submission attempt. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Jeung tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bressler controls his leg. Park Jeung has got the better of the ground game so far. Jeung looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Jeung perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Jeung's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bressler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jeung pulls his head out easily. Bressler missing with punches from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Jeung seems content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jeung stands up from half guard. A combination from Jeung does no damage. Jeung tries to clinch but Bressler moves out of range. Bressler is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jeung sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jeung is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bressler's half guard. Jeung seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bressler is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
