Redfield's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Believers . Krukowski has chosen Disturbed - The Sound of Silence as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Redfield!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Krukowski!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krukowski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Redfield paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Redfield misses with a jab to the body
and Krukowski counters with a nice uppercut.
Krukowski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Redfield.
Redfield dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Krukowski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Redfield moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


It looks like Kevin Krukowski has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Krukowski swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Redfield.
Krukowski works the jab nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Krukowski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Redfield fails to land with a series of punches.
Despite the aggression on Krukowski's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Redfield lands a nice hook to Krukowski's body. Krukowski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Nice combo by Redfield! Oh, that's hurt him - Krukowski falls to the canvas and Redfield follows him into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Redfield is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Krukowski has escaped the position, nice work there.
Krukowski looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Krukowski wants to control but Redfield postures up.
Redfield wants to control but Krukowski is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krukowski tries to improve position but can't.
Krukowski is still trying to improve position.

Redfield controlling the position.
Redfield in side control, throwing shots but Krukowski defends.
Redfield controls the position from side control.
Redfield's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Krukowski is trying to control Redfield's posture but Redfield avoids it.
Redfield trying to control the action but Krukowski is working from the bottom.

Redfield lands a few punches from side control.


That has opened up Kevin Krukowski's cut even more.
You can see the frustration on Krukowski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Redfield connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Krukowski some visible discomfort.


Kevin Krukowski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kevin Krukowski's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chris Redfield!
Chris Redfield tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
