Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Inclan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Nokia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inclan has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 51 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rafael Inclan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 57 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bastian Nokia!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inclan throws a sloppy head kick

and Nokia counters with a nice double leg into side control. Inclan won't be happy with that.
Inclan is breathing heavily.
Nokia has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Inclan!
Nokia moves to the back.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Let's hope that Nokia has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Nokia might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nokia is continuing to stall.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nokia's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Nokia.
Inclan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



A momentary lapse in concentration from Nokia enables Inclan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nokia manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nokia scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Inclan misses with a low kick as Nokia jumps back.
Inclan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nokia counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nokia is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Nokia tries to free his leg and advance position but Inclan is retaining full guard.
Nokia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Nokia must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Nokia gets caught napping as Inclan dives in and scores a takedown. Nokia manages to retain guard.

Nokia pushes Inclan off and gets back to his feet.

Inclan misses with a head kick.
Rafael Inclan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Inclan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Nokia manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Inclan keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Nokia breaks the clinch.

Inclan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Nokia kicks Inclan off and gets to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Inclan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nokia was covering up waiting for the punch and Inclan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Nokia has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Inclan is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Nokia manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Nokia manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Nokia has Inclan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Inclan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bastian Nokia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Nokia tries to pass the half guard into mount. Inclan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Inclan is looking to clinch but Nokia is avoiding it.
Nokia has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Inclan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nokia shapes to counter with a head kick.

Inclan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nokia sprawls well initially but Inclan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Nokia manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Inclan keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Inclan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nokia is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Inclan to the mat. Inclan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Inclan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Nokia manages to pass to side control.

Nokia seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
More stalling from Nokia.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nokia moves nicely into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bastian Nokia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Nokia winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
