Vardy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Cruz shoots in and drives through. Vardy sprawls well.
Vardy scores with a jab to the head.
Cruz fails with the takedown
and Vardy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Vardy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vardy scores with a head kick. Cruz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Carlos Cruz has been cut.
Cruz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vardy looks to land a combination. Cruz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Vardy works over Cruz's head and body with a nice combination.
Cruz is rocked!
Vardy circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Cruz drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Vardy follows Cruz to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
