Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Casey Mcknight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Requis!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Requis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcknight's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Requis engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Mcknight could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mcknight is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Requis is aware though and is defending well.
Mcknight controls Requis momentarily but Requis frees himself.
Requis controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcknight has his foot on Requis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Requis works his way back into a safe position though.
Mcknight preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mcknight will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Requis.
Mcknight tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Requis throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Requis punches the canvas rather than the man.
Requis lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Mcknight trying to control the position but Requis manages to sink in the hooks.

Requis is persistently looking for the submission but Mcknight is defending it well.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Requis throwing wild punches that miss their target.
Mcknight wants to escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Requis misses with a punch to the head.

I really don't envy Mcknight right now.
Mcknight defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Requis's arms.
Requis trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Mcknight doesn't escape.
Let's hope that Requis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Mcknight tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Requis throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Requis misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mcknight tries to hold on but Requis pushes him away.
Requis throwing strikes here but Mcknight is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Requis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The Requis dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Mcknight looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Requis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Requis lands in his opponent's guard.
Requis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Requis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Requis tries to free his leg and advance position but Mcknight is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Requis keeps trying to improve his position.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Requis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Requis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Requis throws a big right hand that misses.
Requis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Requis closes the distance and clinches.
Requis is trying to trip Mcknight. He has hold of a leg but Mcknight is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Requis persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Requis stands and steps away. Mcknight gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Requis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mcknight is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Requis pulls his head out easily.
Mcknight is looking for a sweep. Requis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcknight wants to control but Requis passes into side.
Requis decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Requis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Requis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Requis showed some decent athleticism there.
Mcknight scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Requis manages to mount him!

Mcknight tries to hold on but Requis pushes him away.
Mcknight is wriggling around trying to escape.
Mcknight is working hard here to advance position.
The Requis has got the better of the ground game so far.
Requis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Requis thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Requis looking to control and managing it successfully.
Requis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Requis misses with a head shot.
Requis controlling from mount.
Requis has control of Mcknight's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mcknight regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The Requis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Mcknight tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Requis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Requis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mcknight is trying to defend but Requis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Requis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Requis stands up out of the half guard.
Requis lands a body shot.
Requis has closed the distance and engaged Mcknight in a clinch.
Requis ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Requis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mcknight drops back, looking for a kneebar! Requis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Requis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Requis!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcknight wants to control but Requis postures up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Requis misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Requis decides to stand back up.
Requis moves into range and clinches up with Mcknight.
Mcknight wants to stall.
Requis works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Requis's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Requis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Requis gets to his feet. Mcknight looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mcknight closes the distance and clinches up with Requis, looking for a takedown. Mcknight pushes Requis against the cage but Requis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Requis looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Requis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcknight sprawls well initially but Requis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Requis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Requis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Requis working the head and body with strikes.
Requis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mcknight doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Requis.
Mcknight won't allow Requis to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Requis uses his free foot to push down on Mcknight's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mcknight.
Requis working for a guillotine from mount but Mcknight is in no mood to give up.
Requis moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Mcknight has worked his arm free - good work by Mcknight!
You can see the frustration on Mcknight's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Requis stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Requis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcknight tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Requis is in Mcknight's guard.
Mcknight wants to get back to his feet but Requis passes into half guard.
Requis content to control rather than advance.
Requis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that's the end of the fight!
The Requis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Requis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
