Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hilton Walters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bob Bilder!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilder tries to close the distance and clinch but Walters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bilder closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Walters fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Walters is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bilder is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Walters to the mat. Walters regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Bilder trying to control the position from guard on top but Walters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bilder content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Bilder must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bilder is looking to work some ground and pound but Walters has wrist control.
Walters wants to stand up but Bilder is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bilder missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Bilder stands and steps away. Walters gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bilder wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Walters really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bilder gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Bilder wants to get back to his feet.

Bilder wants to lay and pray for a moment but Walters keeps working.

Bilder looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Walters wants to improve his position but Bilder is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bilder is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Bilder has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bilder lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Walters hang on?
Bilder connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Walters is rocked!

Bilder cracks Walters with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
