Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Viper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marvin Viper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Rutten! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Viper looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Viper looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Viper tries to clinch but Rutten is having none of it. Rutten has Viper up against the cage in a clinch.
Rutten manages to break the clinch.
Viper throws a head kick but Rutten moves out of range.
Rutten tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rutten throws a head kick that misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Rutten lands a left hand.
Viper throws a punch but it's blocked by Rutten. Rutten goes for a takedown attempt but Viper pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rutten moves in looking to clinch but Viper pushes him off. Rutten wants to clinch and Viper counters by clinching up. Viper has had enough of the clinch but Rutten keeps him there for the moment. Rutten blocking some punches.

Rutten lands a nice shot to the body. Rutten breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Viper moves out of range of the body kick from Rutten.
Viper drives through and clinches with Rutten against the cage.
Rutten lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Rutten blocks an uppercut.
Rutten wants to break free but Viper has control.
Viper lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Viper blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Viper gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Viper lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rutten backwards. Rutten fails to pull guard.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rutten. Viper works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Rutten wants to sweep here but Viper controlling him for the moment. Viper is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Viper working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rutten's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rutten has his foot on Viper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Viper works his way back into a safe position though. Rutten scores with a nice head shot. Rutten closes the distance but Viper moves to the side and Viper counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Viper throws a right and a left that Rutten avoids nicely. Viper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rutten tries to avoid it but Viper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rutten to the ground. Rutten escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Viper scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rutten is looking for a sweep. Viper decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Viper looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Viper moves into the clinch. Rutten with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Viper could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rutten tries a knee to the head but Viper blocks it.
Rutten wants to get back to striking at distance but Viper won't allow it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. and Viper counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rutten! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rutten is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Rutten srikes from the bottom but he's lost position and has given up his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rutten is in bad spot here.
Rutten trying to get back to his feet but Viper is in full control for now. Viper lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Rutten hold on?!
Rutten prevents Viper from getting a body triangle. Viper is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Rutten is defending well though. Viper let's go of the attempt for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Viper doesn't have the hooks in and Rutten manages to turn into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marvin Viper dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joe Rutten's cut. That's time! Viper's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Good work by Viper as he checks the leg kick. Rutten closes the distance but Viper moves to the side and Viper counters with a big head kick but Rutten shrugs it off. A lazy body kick from Viper and Rutten counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Viper tries to close the distance and clinch but Rutten swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rutten misses with a series of wild punches.

Rutten has picked Viper up - he's going for a ride! Rutten dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Rutten scoring with strikes to the body and head. Viper misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rutten lands with a punch from half guard. Rutten not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rutten is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are battling for position here. Viper manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Viper escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rutten gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rutten looking to pass the guard. Viper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Viper lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Viper tries to clinch up and Rutten holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Rutten lands an elbow just above Viper 's eye. Viper avoids the elbow strike from Rutten, against the cage.
Rutten keeps control of Viper as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Rutten pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Viper misses with a two punch combination.

Rutten lands a head kick. Viper smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Rutten tries to keep at a distance but Viper has taken the fight into the clinch. Viper avoids a wild elbow strike from Rutten. Viper lands an elbow that stopped Rutten in his tracks for a moment. Rutten is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Viper landing knees to the head.

Viper shoots and misses and Rutten counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Rutten darts in trying to clinch and Viper counters with an inside leg kick. A head kick misses from Viper. Viper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Viper takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Rutten feints and as Viper raises his hands in defense, Rutten changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rutten gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Viper is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rutten is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Viper to the mat. Viper regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Viper is looking to get back to full guard here but Rutten has managed to pass to side control instead.

Rutten lands a big shot there that rocks Viper but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rutten fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Rutten tries to control but Viper wriggling away. Rutten raining down shots from the mount! Viper wants to hold on but Rutten pushes him away. Rutten with the ground and pound from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rutten unloading with bombs! Marvin Viper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rutten lands a big elbow. Viper is trying to stand. Rutten has isolated one of Viper's arms. Viper looking to fight him off but Rutten twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
