Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oliver Bush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richard Anderson! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Bush. Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Bush shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Anderson looks for a takedown but Bush sprawls well. A counter left hand to the body from Bush misses its target. Bush swinging wildly here.
Anderson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Anderson clinches up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bush has had enough of the clinch but Anderson keeps him there for the moment. Anderson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bush gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Oliver Bush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Anderson. Bush being controlled against the cage. Bush is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bush manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bush wriggles free and stands up. Anderson closes the distance and pushes Bush back into the cage. Bush is looking to break free of the clinch but Anderson has double underhooks. Anderson scores with a shot to the side of Bush's head. The referee calls for Bush to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bush working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bush working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bush will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Anderson wants to sweep here but Bush controlling him for the moment. Bush prevents Anderson from getting back to his feet. Bush gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Anderson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bush has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Anderson uses from the top position. Bush lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Bush throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bush being controlled here momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson has his foot on Bush's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bush works his way back into a safe position though. Bush postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Anderson wants to improve his position but instead Bush has moved into half guard.
Bush throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bush lands with a punch from half guard. Bush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bush working the head and body with strikes. Anderson is looking to improve his position.
Bush working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Bush seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Anderson wants to get back to full guard. Bush missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bush scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Bush wants to stand but Anderson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Bush lands with a punch from half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bush lands strikes from half guard. Bush seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bush tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bush to the ground. Bush escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bush throws a quick counter head kick but Anderson was just out of range. Bush shoots in looking for a takedown but Anderson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bush's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Richard Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson darts in looking for a takedown but Bush gets double underhooks and turns Anderson into the cage. Anderson moves out of range as Bush throws a body kick.
Anderson clinches. Anderson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bush is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Oliver Bush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Anderson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bush stuffs the takedown attempt from Anderson. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet. Anderson with a poor takedown letting Bush counter with a right hand. Anderson throws a head kick that misses. Bush throws a big counter combination but Anderson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. A punch combination from Bush misses. Anderson throws a head kick that Bush semi-blocks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bush defends well and Anderson ends up having to push Bush into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Anderson is breathing heavily. No luck for Bush with that takedown attempt. Anderson shoots in but no luck this time. Anderson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bush to score an easy takedown into full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bush throws a strike but Anderson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bush looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there. Oliver Bush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bush preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bush working a defensive guard but Anderson manages to pass into side control anyway.
Anderson working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bush trying to remain calm as Anderson controls from the top position. Bush is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Anderson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Anderson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bush wants to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Anderson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Richard Anderson will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Anderson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bush sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bush keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Anderson has Bush up against the cage in a clinch.

Bush's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Anderson obliges. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Bush taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bush has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anderson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bush tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Anderson avoids it. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. A bit of stalling here from Anderson.
Bush is trying to pull guard but Anderson has him pressed against the cage. Anderson successfully pulls guard.
Bush throws an elbow that misses. Anderson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bush's guard. Nice move by Anderson! Anderson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bush really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bush is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Anderson won't allow Bush to sweep him here. Bush controls Anderson momentarily but Anderson frees himself. Anderson stands up from Bush's guard - Anderson perhaps looking for a knockout. Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bush tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bush to the ground. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Anderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bush swivels and escapes. Bush is looking for a counter combo. Anderson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Anderson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bush circles away. Anderson gets a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Bush's face as he tries to break the clinch. Anderson has Bush pressed against the cage, preventing Bush from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bush tries to pull guard but Anderson holds him up against the cage and eventually Bush drops back down to his feet.
Bush is working for takedown but Anderson is calmly controlling the position for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Anderson scores with a hook to the body. Anderson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bush's efforts to push away. Anderson avoiding damage as Bush throws knees to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Richard Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Anderson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
