The bell rings for round one and we are underway! American closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bodahl tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and American avoids it. American has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bodahl clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bodahl is breathing heavily. American is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
American is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
