Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lavern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Reeb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Reeb looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josh Reeb! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.

Lavern dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Reeb tries to keep at a distance but has taken the fight into the clinch. Reeb turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! What's going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Reeb tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reeb has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. holds on to Reeb's head and controls the position momentarily. is looking to reverse the position. Lavern overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. A bit of a lull in the action here. Reeb is breathing heavily.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. This is a sustained period of stalling by . really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. is trying to control Reeb's posture but Reeb avoids it. Reeb is trying to get an arm triangle but is defending well. parries the strikes from Reeb easily there. Reeb is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable to escape.
