Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankie Workman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doe gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Doe gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Doe scoring with punches to the head and body.
Workman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Workman wants to stand and escape but Doe is having none of it.
Workman trying to control the position here.

Workman kicks Doe off and gets to his feet.
Workman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Doe holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Doe breaks from the clinch.

Doe gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Doe working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Doe gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Workman wants to get back to his feet.
Workman pushes Doe off but Doe dives into side control.
Workman tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Doe easily slips into full mount!
Workman tries to hold on but Doe pushes him away.
Workman's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Doe lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Doe working the ground and pound effectively.
Doe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Workman really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Doe lands a big shot there that rocks Workman but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Doe scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Workman tries to lock up and control but Doe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Workman is trying to stand.
Doe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Workman is looking to escape.
Workman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Doe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Doe raining down hammerfists from mount.
Workman is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The referee warns Workman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


Workman is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Doe postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Workman in real trouble here! The ref calls for Workman to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Doe!
