Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jungle Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Brown drops back looking for a leg! Griffin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Griffin manages to kick Brown off! Brown jumps back into Griffin's guard.

Brown is trying to control the action in half guard but Griffin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Brown is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Griffin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Griffin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Brown is keen to just control but Griffin is a slippery customer.
Brown is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Griffin is in a horrible position here. Brown smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Brown has the hooks in. Griffin is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Brown drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Griffin dives on top into guard.

Brown is looking for a sweep. Griffin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Brown fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Brown tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Griffin smiles and moves away.
Griffin throws a combination. Brown tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Griffin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jungle Griffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Brown.
Griffin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Griffin moves into range and clinches up with Brown.
Griffin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Griffin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Griffin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.
Brown had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Griffin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brown Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Griffin's back instead.

Griffin defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Brown's arms.
Griffin just trying to survive but Brown is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Griffin is trying to break free.
Brown has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Griffin! Can he survive? No! He's out! Brown gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
