Pickering looks to land a body kick but Sigurjonsson moved away.
Pickering throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sigurjonsson.

Pickering tries to bum rush Sigurjonsson with a series of wild strikes but Sigurjonsson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pickering stalks Sigurjonsson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sigurjonsson's face. Sigurjonsson staggers backwards, shaken.
Pickering fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sigurjonsson checks it well.
Pickering works over Sigurjonsson's head and body with a nice combination.

Sigurjonsson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sigurjonsson gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Pickering avoids the head kick by Sigurjonsson.
Sigurjonsson tries to clinch but Pickering is having none of it.
Sigurjonsson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pickering fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sigurjonsson checks a leg kick.

The fight stays on the outside here - Sigurjonsson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sigurjonsson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pickering pinned against the cage. Pickering gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pickering will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sigurjonsson or perhaps it was just good defense by Pickering, which made it look bad.

Sigurjonsson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pickering did well to prevent Sigurjonsson getting side control.

Pickering is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Pickering really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sigurjonsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sigurjonsson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pickering keeps working.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Pickering goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Pickering throws a right hand that Sigurjonsson ducks under and follows up with a left that Sigurjonsson also avoids with ease.
Sigurjonsson shoots in looking for a takedown. Pickering tries to sprawl out of it but Sigurjonsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pickering manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No joy there for Pickering, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pickering throws a series of punches but Sigurjonsson avoids them all with ease.
Pickering lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Sigurjonsson is rocked!
A slapping leg kick lands for Pickering.
Oh Sigurjonsson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pickering is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Sigurjonsson hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
