Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Morgan as Laprise shoots in.
Laprise goes for a double leg but Morgan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Morgan continues to drive forward.
Laprise looks for a takedown but Morgan sprawls well.
Virgil Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pierre Laprise.
Morgan cracks Laprise with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Laprise shoots in but Morgan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Laprise has a takedown stuffed.
Laprise closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Laprise lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laprise stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Morgan has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Laprise manages to get his head free but now Morgan has transitioned to an armbar! Laprise grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Morgan! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Virgil Morgan decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
