Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Slim Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Mcgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Mcgregor is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slim Jim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Mcgregor! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jim keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jim fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Horrible takedown attempt by Mcgregor or perhaps it was just good defense by Jim, which made it look bad. Jim tries to counter with a takedown but Mcgregor is quick to defend against it. Mcgregor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Slim Jim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Mcgregor. Mcgregor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Andrew Mcgregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jim circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mcgregor gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jim is looking to take this one to the mat. Jim changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mcgregor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcgregor shoots for a takedown but Jim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jim shoots in for a double leg but Mcgregor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jim misses with a low kick. Mcgregor unleashes a big counter combination but Jim bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Mcgregor lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Slim Jim has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgregor tries to clinch up but Jim circles away and keeps his distance. Jim keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jim is breathing heavily. Mcgregor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jim appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jim looks for a takedown. He's got it. That's two minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jim connects with a nice short shot to Mcgregor's temple. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jim lands a nice short elbow. Jim slips a nice elbow through Mcgregor's hands, connecting with Mcgregor's forehead. Jim looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Jim is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Jim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jim drops an elbow to the side of Mcgregor's head. Jim looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Mcgregor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jim working Mcgregor over with strikes. Jim landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgregor taking some punishment here, with Jim in his half guard.
Mcgregor is rocked! Jim uses his free foot to push down on Mcgregor's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mcgregor. Jim tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jim landing shots from mount. Mcgregor is still in real trouble! Can Jim finish him? Jim loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Mcgregor scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Jim land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Jim stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Slim Jim!
