Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Darko.
Darko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Darko somewhat.
Lee swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donnie Darko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Darko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lee lands a right hook to the body.
A left and a right from Lee both land. Nice combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee forces Darko back against the ropes and clinches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Darko is defended easily by Lee.

Darko closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Darko pushes Lee against the ropes but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lee is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Darko with a body shot.
Brandon Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Darko fails with the takedown
and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Lee counters with a left to the body.
Darko is breathing heavily.
Lee moves into the clinch successfully.
Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Darko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Darko is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lee is defending well.

Darko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.
A little jabbing left from Lee on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Darko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lee's half guard.
Lee has one foot on Darko's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Donnie Darko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lee forces Darko back against the ropes and clinches.
Darko lands a nice uppercut.
Darko has Lee pressed against the ropes, preventing Lee from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Darko is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Darko wants a takedown but no success here.
Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lee moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Darko is rocked!

Oh Darko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Darko seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A lazy left from Lee finds it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Lee. No joy for Darko on that attempt.
Darko gets tackled into the ropes by Lee. Lee maintains the clinch.
Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Darko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Darko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Darko, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Darko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lee! But no joy.
Lee cracks Darko with a good jab.
Darko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lee stuns Darko with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lee gets a clinch.
Lee scores with a hook to the body.
Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Darko takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Darko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lee.
Lee is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Darko rather than just go for the knockout.
A shot to the liver by Lee. Beautiful body shot.
Darko tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lee is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Lee scores with a jab. Darko acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Lee is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Darko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.
Lee punishes Darko's body with a nice straight punch.
Lee bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Darko has his takedown stuffed
and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Darko goes for a takedown attempt but Lee pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lee drops Darko with a beautiful combination! Darko stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lee is looking for the KO!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Lee dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lee is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Darko flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Darko is out cold! Lee holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brandon Lee!
