Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noah Burn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simon Simpson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Burn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Simon Simpson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Simpson throws a shot from downtown. Burn moves away and avoids it. Burn slips under a jab. Burn shoots in for a takedown but Simpson shows good takedown defense. Burn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Simpson circles away. Simpson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Burn. A big right from Simpson misses. Burn fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noah Burn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Simpson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Burn. Simpson darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Simpson stuffs the takedown. Burn shoots in for a double leg but Simpson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Simpson staying out of range there. Simpson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Burn! Simpson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Simpson looking to finish Burn with some ground and pound. This is bad for Burn! Simpson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Simpson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Burn is desperately trying to improve his position but Simpson has a good base and remains in mount. Burn is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Simpson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Simpson unloading with bombs! Burn is bucking up trying to escape but Simpson cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Burn is wriggling around trying to escape.
Burn taking shots to the head. Simpson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Burn gets back to half guard. Burn is looking to get back to full guard here but Simpson has managed to pass to side control instead. Burn keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Simpson tries to control but Burn wriggling away. Burn is trying to escape the mount.
Simpson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Burn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Burn tries to hold on but Simpson postures up. Simpson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Simpson working for a guillotine from mount but Burn is in no mood to give up. Burn takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Burn is desperately trying to improve his position but Simpson has a good base and remains in mount. Burn bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Burn wants to control from the top but Simpson keeps moving. Simpson keeping full guard, as Burn tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Simon Simpson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Burn has his takedown stuffed and Simpson counters with a straight right hand. Simpson scores with a decent looking hook. Simpson moves out of range of the strikes. Simpson clobbers Burn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Burn misses with a takedown and Simpson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Burn doesn't manage to clinch there - Simpson circles away.
Simpson moves into range and connects with a jab. Simpson grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Burn takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Simpson cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Simon Simpson!
