Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Schweenis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clifford Guerrero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pat Schweenis!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schweenis throws a head kick but Guerrero moves out of range.
Guerrero tries a head kick but it misses.
Schweenis only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Schweenis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Guerrero.
Guerrero tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schweenis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Guerrero somewhat.
Schweenis throws a nice outside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guerrero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Schweenis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Schweenis is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Schweenis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Guerrero is proving hard to escape from.

Guerrero drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Guerrero jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Schweenis walks away with a smile on his face. Guerrero gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Schweenis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Guerrero fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Schweenis to the ground. Guerrero is now in Schweenis's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Guerrero trying to control but Schweenis is working from the bottom.

Guerrero gets to his feet. Schweenis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Schweenis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Guerrero has had enough of the clinch but Schweenis keeps him there for the moment.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Guerrero is rocked!
Schweenis jerks Guerrero's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Guerrero drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Schweenis goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Schweenis because Guerrero was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Pat Schweenis!
