Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
44 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Zepp! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Anderson misses. Zepp slips under a jab from Anderson. Anderson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zepp. Anderson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Anderson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zepp. Zepp circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Zepp slips under a jab from Anderson. And Zepp responds with a good body kick, but Anderson manages to step out the way in time. Zepp with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Anderson to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Bobby Zepp has been cut. Zepp throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson looks to land a right hand but Zepp moved out of range. Zepp lands a slapping body shot.

Zepp throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson counters with a leg kick. Anderson scores with a decent looking hook. Anderson misses the jab. Anderson throws a hook to the side of Zepp's head but Zepp sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Anderson throws a shot from downtown. Zepp moves away and avoids it. Zepp misses with a hook

and Zepp takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nice uppercut there from Anderson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson lands with a hook. Zepp tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Anderson takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Brownie Anderson has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zepp pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zepp takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Crunch! Zepp slams his shin into Anderson's torso. Anderson slips under a jab. A little feinted left hand from Anderson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Anderson misses with a hook to the body
and Zepp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Zepp displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anderson throws out the jab. Anderson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A little jabbing left from Zepp on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zepp takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Zepp slips under a jab from Anderson. A low kick from Zepp is predictable there and Anderson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Zepp really felt that one! Zepp punishes Anderson's body with a nice straight punch. Zepp is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Zepp tries to score with a low kick but Anderson moves his leg out of the way. Zepp misses with a right hand and Anderson counters with a body kick that stops Zepp in his tracks momentarily. Zepp tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Zepp throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Anderson counters with a straight right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zepp throws a series of punches but Anderson avoids them all with ease. Anderson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Anderson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zepp throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Anderson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Anderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zepp moves away. Zepp swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Anderson. Zepp connects with a body shot that sends Anderson's belly button to the back. Zepp pushes Anderson away with a front kick. Anderson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brownie Anderson dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Anderson quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Zepp punishes Anderson's body with a nice straight punch. A swing and a miss from Zepp. Zepp takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Zepp moves out of range of the body kick from Anderson.
Zepp looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson throws a hook but Zepp blocks it. Zepp throws a body shot but no joy. Anderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zepp.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zepp lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively. Zepp throws a right hand that misses
and Anderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Zepp throws a looping overhand right but Anderson ducks down to avoid it. Anderson throws a hook to the side of Zepp's head but Zepp sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Zepp might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Anderson has got the better of the exchanges. Anderson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zepp lands a leg kick that knocks Anderson off balance momentarily. Anderson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Anderson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zepp. Zepp takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Zepp counters with a left to the body. Anderson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A shot to the liver by Zepp. Beautiful body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Anderson throws a lazy uppercut
letting Zepp counter with a right hand. Zepp throws a head kick that misses. Good work by Zepp as he checks the leg kick. Anderson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Anderson moves away from the strike by Zepp.

Anderson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Anderson misses the jab. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Zepp! But no joy. Zepp throws a head kick but Anderson moves out of range.

Bobby Zepp showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zepp takes a shot right to the bread basket. Zepp misses with an uppercut

That has opened up Bobby Zepp's cut even more. Zepp misses the body punch and Anderson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Zepp looks to throw a body kick and Anderson counters with a stiff right hand. Zepp connects with a jab. Sloppy strikes from Zepp. Those never looked like landing. It looked like Anderson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Nice straight punches there by Anderson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Anderson. A punch lands to the side of Zepp 's head but he takes it in his stride. Zepp misses with a hook

and Anderson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anderson lands the left hand. Anderson scores with a jab. Anderson misses with an uppercut. Zepp saw that one coming. Zepp throws a lazy head kick and Anderson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Zepp misses with a looping right. Anderson cracks a nice hook into Zepp's ribs. A nice leg kick lands there from Zepp.
And that's the end of the fight! Brownie Anderson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Anderson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
