The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryan tries to clinch
enabling Xiang Pao to counter with a crisp jab.
Bryan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Xiang Pao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Xiang Pao connects with a high kick.
Xiang Pao keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bryan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bryan with a lazy takedown attempt
and Xiang Pao counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bryan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bryan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bo Xiang Pao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Bryan.

Bryan is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Xiang Pao is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Bryan flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bryan is out cold! Xiang Pao holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bo Xiang Pao!
A relieved looking Bo Xiang Pao thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Daniel Bryan stepped up to the mic, saying 'NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!'.
