Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gap Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Logic feat. Castro - Ballin as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnny Miller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gap Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Miller! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller moves out of range of the body kick. Turner defending well as Miller loads up on a big left hand. Turner tests Miller's chin there with a solid looking shot. Turner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Miller checks a leg kick nicely. Miller checks a low kick from Turner. Miller only half commits to the counter leg kick. We've been informed that Miller has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Miller misses with a leg kick. Miller closes the distance and clinches. Turner has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Turner prevents a body shot from Miller. Miller has Turner pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Turner manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Turner obliges. Turner stops a takedown attempt from Miller.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Miller. A head punch on the inside from Miller fails to land. Miller is looking for a takedown. Gap Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Miller. Miller doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Turner moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Turner cracks Miller with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Turner throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Miller buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Turner lands a nice leg kick that just misses Miller's sensitive parts. Turner misses with a body kick. Miller looks for a takedown but Turner sprawls well. Turner keeps the fight on the outside. Miller lunges at Turner with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Turner's hand. Miller connects with a solid leg kick. Turner attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Turner takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Turner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Miller.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Turner checks a leg kick nicely. Turner throws a shot to the body.
Turner takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Turner tries to counter with a takedown but Miller is quick to defend against it. Turner misses the jab. Miller scores with a leg kick.
Miller turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Turner scores with a crisp jab that stopped Miller in his tracks. Nice body kick there by Turner. Miller has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Miller there as he acknowledges the shot. Nice defenses there by Miller. Miller closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Miller misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Good work by Turner as he checks the leg kick. Turner tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch. Miller misses with the head strike.

Still in the clinch, Miller scores with a nice short uppercut. Turner misses with a body punch.
Turner has had enough of the clinch but Miller keeps him there for the moment. Miller tries to work over Turner's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Miller misses with a hook from the clinch. Turner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turner throws a head kick that misses. Turner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Turner showed some decent athleticism there. Turner thows a huge punch but Miller dodges it nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action! Miller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Miller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Turner. Turner not landing any meaningful shots this time. Miller is looking for a sweep. Turner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Miller is still trying to improve position. Turner is keen to just control but Miller is a slippery customer. Miller trying to control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gap Turner will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Miller looks to land a combination but Turner avoids it well. Turner lands a nice shot to the body.

Miller looks for the body kick but Turner saw that one coming. Turner half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Turner keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Miller. Good work by Turner as he checks the leg kick. Johnny Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turner throws a head kick that misses. Miller's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Miller duly obliges. Miller bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Miller. That's going to slow Turner down. Miller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Turner. Miller flicks out a counter leg kick but Turner steps away. Miller misses with a looping left. Miller motions for Turner to come forward. Miller throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Turner on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Miller. Miller obviously looking to wear him down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Horrible takedown attempt by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Turner, which made it look bad.

Miller tries to clinch up but Turner circles away and keeps his distance. Miller looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Turner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Miller wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving. Turner looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Miller puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Turner is not content to let Miller control the position. Turner is doing well to control the position and prevent Miller from advancing to side control. Miller seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Turner looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner wants to improve his position but Miller is controlling well.
Miller looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Turner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Turner wants to control but Miller is keeping busy.
Turner wants to get back to full guard. Miller trying to control the action but Turner is working from the bottom. Turner moves into full guard.
Miller landing some decent shots from guard. Johnny Miller has got the better of the ground game so far. Turner wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller chips away with some ground and pound. Miller lands a couple of digs. Turner looking for a sweep. Not yet Turner, not yet. Miller trying to control but Turner is working from the bottom. Turner is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Miller is working Turner over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Miller wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving. Miller throws a big elbow that misses. Miller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller stopping the sweep attempt from Turner.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Turner leaves Miller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Miller closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Turner quickly recovers to half guard. Turner is in trouble now - Miller has advanced to mount! Turner is trying to escape the mount.
Miller avoids the attempt from Turner to control. Miller unloading with bombs! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Turner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Miller tries to move into range but Turner moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Miller cracks the inside of Turner's front leg. Miller sizes up Turner with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A low kick from Miller misses and Turner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Turner tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Miller has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A head kick misses from Turner. Turner just misses with a punch to the body.
Miller looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Turner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Turner takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Turner connects with a solid leg kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Turner. Turner will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Miller lands a leg kick that knocks Turner off balance momentarily. A lazy left from Miller finds it's target. Turner is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Turner thuds his shin into the meat of Miller's side. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch but Turner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller tries to work over Turner's front leg with a kick but Turner checks it. Sloppy strikes from Miller. Those never looked like landing. Turner shoots for a double leg takedown but Miller sprawls well. He's pushed Turner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Miller avoids the body shot from Turner.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Miller. Miller lands a decent elbow from side control. Miller trying to control the position but Turner is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Turner some visible discomfort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller lands some shots froms side control. Turner manages to get back to half guard. Turner is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Miller looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Miller scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Turner is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Miller pulls his head out easily. Miller winds up and cracks Turner with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Turner tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control. Turner is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Miller scores with a couple of nice shots. Miller working the head and body with strikes. Miller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Turner is looking to control Miller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Turner avoid being mounted? Turner tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Miller connects with a nice short shot to Turner's temple. Turner throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Miller prevents Turner from improving his position. Turner looking for submissions off his back. Miller drops an elbow to the side of Turner's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Turner strikes from the bottom but Miller uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Miller lands some shots froms side control. Turner tries to bench press Miller off him but Miller keeps the position. Miller wants to control but Turner is keeping him busy. Turner on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Miller working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Johnny Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Miller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
