Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Drake Johnson! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doe jabs Johnson to the body, keeping him at a distance. Johnson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Doe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Johnson scrambles back to his feet. Doe throws a shot to the body.
Doe lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Doe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson. Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doe's waist but Doe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side. Doe lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Johnson moves forwards but Doe connects with a nice, crisp jab. Johnson tries to keep at a distance but Doe has taken the fight into the clinch. A short right from Doe. Doe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Johnson fails to pull guard.
John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drake Johnson. Johnson wants the takedown. Doe is fighting it off but Johnson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Doe's guard against the cage. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Johnson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson has gone for a leg lock! Doe slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johnson's guard. Doe prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Doe from controlling successfully. Doe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Doe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Johnson is looking for a triangle but Doe pushes his legs off easily.
Doe lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Doe makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Doe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Doe has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doe is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Doe sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Johnson's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Doe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Doe sits in half guard. Doe sitting and controlling from the half guard. Johnson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Doe seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Johnson wants to improve his position but Doe is controlling well.

Johnson looking for submissions off his back. Johnson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Doe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Johnson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Johnson gets full guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson has momentary wrist control but Doe slips an elbow through the middle. Johnson working for a triangle but Doe defends it easily.
Doe landing some decent shots from guard. Doe with a nice head shot there. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Doe from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doe throws a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Doe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Doe leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Doe was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Doe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Doe lands with a nice body punch. Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Doe swivels and escapes. John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Doe moves into the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Doe creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Johnson blocks a body shot from Doe. A short left from Doe. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson wants to take the fight to the mat but Doe manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Doe presses Johnson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Doe lands a right hand that snaps the head of Johnson backwards. Doe prevents the takedown attempt.
Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Doe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Doe tries to throw a body punch but Johnson avoids it by throwing Doe back against the cage. Doe has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Johnson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Doe biding his time, controlling Johnson. Doe has Johnson flattened out and is raining down punches. Johnson is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Doe.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Doe doesn't have the hooks in and Johnson manages to turn into his guard.
Doe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Johnson is looking to advance position but Doe has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! A nice elbow there by Doe. Johnson tries to reverse the position but Doe maintains control. Johnson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Doe is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Johnson actively working from the bottom here. Johnson is in trouble now - Doe has advanced to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe landing punches. Doe is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Johnson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Johnson manages to regain half guard. Good work. Johnson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Doe pulls his head out easily. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Doe sits in half guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Doe slows the pace down in half guard. Doe prevents Johnson from improving his position. Doe lands with a punch from half guard. Doe frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Doe landing shots from mount. Doe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Johnson can do to turn this around? Johnson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Johnson regains half guard. Johnson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Doe scores with a couple of nice shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Doe dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Nice cross by Doe. Doe is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Doe.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Johnson is looking for a triangle but Doe pushes his legs off easily.

And that's the end of the fight! John Doe showed his dominance in that final round. Well Doe has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
