Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lenard Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgie Porgie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lenard Rivera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Georgie Porgie! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ben Watson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porgie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rivera to the ground. Porgie is now in Rivera's guard. Rivera has control of Porgie's left arm, preventing Porgie from doing any damage. Porgie stopping the sweep attempt from Rivera. Porgie sitting in guard here, content to control. Porgie postures up.
Porgie passes Rivera's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rivera is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Porgie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Porgie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rivera does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivera trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Porgie punishing his opponent with strikes. Porgie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rivera is looking to escape. Rivera sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Porgie stalling. Rivera slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivera working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Porgie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Porgie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rivera throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Porgie trying to control but Rivera is working from the bottom. Porgie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Porgie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rivera throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Porgie trying to control the position from guard on top but Rivera is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Porgie wants to stand but Rivera has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rivera is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Porgie defends well. Porgie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Porgie trying to control but Rivera is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rivera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Porgie drives through with a takedown into Rivera's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Rivera controls Porgie momentarily but Porgie frees himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rivera wants to get back to his feet but Porgie is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Porgie's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Georgie Porgie dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Porgie gets the takedown into side control. Rivera is looking to reverse the position. Rivera prevents Porgie from moving into mount. Rivera is trying to get back to half guard. Porgie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rivera, who protects the arm well. Rivera is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Porgie off and has taken his back! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Porgie is trying to remain composed but Rivera is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Porgie manages to reverse the position and now he's in Rivera's guard. Nice work there by Porgie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivera looking to hit a scissor sweep but Porgie is one step ahead there. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Porgie wants to stand but Rivera is controlling the position. Rivera passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Porgie trying to control from the bottom.
Porgie pushes Rivera off looking to stand but Rivera dives back in and keeps control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Porgie is trying to get back to full guard. Porgie flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rivera is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Porgie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rivera is working away from the top position though. Porgie has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Rivera escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Rivera! Porgie is trying to work for a sweep but Rivera has mounted him!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rivera landing punches. Rivera looking to finish Porgie with some ground and pound. This is bad for Porgie! Porgie manages to regain half guard. Good work. Rivera throwing shots but Porgie is blocking nicely. Porgie striking from the bottom. Lenard Rivera overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Porgie tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Rivera has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Porgie is looking to improve his position but Rivera isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lenard Rivera dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Rivera has closed the distance and engaged Porgie in a clinch.
Rivera's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Porgie does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Porgie pushes Rivera up against the cage in a clinch. Rivera manages to break the clinch.
Porgie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rivera was covering up waiting for the punch and Porgie finishes the takedown easily into guard. Rivera is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Porgie defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Porgie looking to pass the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Porgie is stalling in the full guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Porgie with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Porgie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rivera dives on top into guard. Rivera stands up over Porgie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rivera is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivera postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rivera stops Porgie from standing up. Rivera stopping the sweep attempt from Porgie. Porgie wants to control but Rivera passes easily into half guard.
Porgie is looking for a sweep. Rivera is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rivera is nestled in close to Porgie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Porgie tries to roll over but Rivera keeps him under control. Porgie is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Rivera jumps into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Porgie takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Porgie tries to improve position but can't. Rivera works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Porgie is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Rivera will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Porgie taking punishment in the form of punches.
Rivera lands a decent elbow from side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Porgie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rivera wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Porgie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Porgie taking punishment in the form of punches.
And that's the end of the fight! Lenard Rivera showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rivera has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
