Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Dudley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mookie Betts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dudley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Betts is looking to regain half guard here but Dudley keeps moving and retains side control.

Dudley scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Betts to see if he's OK.

Betts avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dudley.
Betts wants to get back to his feet but Dudley is dominant here and he's now got Betts's back!

Dudley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Betts defends it easily.

Dudley has his foot on Betts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Betts works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dudley dives in and grabs Betts's left leg, looking for a takedown. Betts pushes down on Dudley's head and hops out.

Betts is trying to control the position but Dudley postures up.
Betts is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Betts escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dudley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dudley distracts Betts with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Betts wants to stand up but Dudley is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dudley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Betts wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Dudley throws an elbow that misses. Betts uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dudley's guard. Nice move by Betts!

Betts wants to control from the top but Dudley keeps moving.

Dudley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Betts defends well.

Dudley wants to stand and escape but Betts is having none of it.

Betts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dudley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dudley is trying to control the position but Betts postures up.

Betts gets to his feet - Dudley follows without any prompting.

Dudley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Betts was covering up waiting for the punch and Dudley finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Dudley lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Betts is trying to control the position but Dudley postures up.
Betts has momentary wrist control but Dudley slips an elbow through the middle.

Dudley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dudley's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Betts has control of Dudley's left arm, preventing Dudley from doing any damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Betts is trying to control the position but Dudley postures up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Harvey Dudley will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Betts wants to stand up but Dudley has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Well Dudley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
