Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Castilho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cortez comes to the cage accompanied by Wake Me Up. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rafael Cortez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cesar Castilho! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castilho pushes Cortez up against the cage in a clinch. Castilho creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Cortez's defenses.
It looks like Rafael Cortez has been cut. Cortez dodges an elbow strike from Castilho.
Castilho throws an elbow that misses.
Cortez is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Castilho wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cortez has him pressed against the cage. Castilho throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Castilho working hard to break the clinch. Castilho pushes off an throws an elbow but Cortez leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Castilho throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
A right hook to the body lands for Cortez.
Cortez misses with a hook from the clinch. Castilho misses with a punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Castilho misses with an elbow strike.
Cortez makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Castilho tries a knee to the head but Cortez blocks it.
Cortez throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Castilhos head. Castilho throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Castilho's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cortez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cortez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Castilho throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cortez sees it coming and avoids it easily. It looked like Cortez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Castilho swings widly with a right hand
and Cortez counters with a nice uppercut. Cortez feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Castilho collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Rafael Cortez! Rafael Cortez looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Finally I have found my home. Thank you Team Burns and everyone for giving me my home and making me into a great fighter. I lived in Spain my whole life and this life is different for me, but I'm so gratefull.'. The defeated Cesar Castilho had this to say: 'Tough Opponent, Ill Be Back Thanks Again '.
