Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Havvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Dream (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dream comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blue Dream: Strain Review kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! George Havvik has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Havvik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blue Dream!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Havvik scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Havvik tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Dream tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Havvik wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dream struggling a bit here.

Havvik slows the pace down.
Havvik misses with the ground and pound.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Havvik is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dream knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dream felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Havvik has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Havvik wants to control but Dream is keeping him busy.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Havvik tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Havvik has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Havvik has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dream is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Havvik yanks on the arm and Dream is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Havvik.
