Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rene Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazu Kakihara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazu Kakihara!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez misses with the combination.

Jimenez looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kakihara has picked Jimenez up and slammed him! Jimenez can't keep hold of the triangle and Kakihara manages to pass to side control!

Kakihara might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jimenez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A close second round but Kazu Kakihara will probably get the nod - 10:9.

I would just about give that final round to Kazu Kakihara.
I think Kakihara has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
