Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Domingo Underwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Poole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Domingo Underwood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Poole! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poole moves into range and clinches up with Underwood. Underwood jumps guard and drags Poole to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Poole is looking to pass into half guard but Underwood pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Underwood is in guard. Underwood preventing the sweep. Poole wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Underwood is now in half guard. Underwood sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Poole defending well though. Poole has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Underwood is working away from the top position though. Underwood thows a huge punch but Poole dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Underwood looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Poole is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Underwood controlling his opponent. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Underwood cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Poole keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Underwood looking to finish Poole with some ground and pound. This is bad for Poole!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Underwood lands a big elbow. Underwood working for a guillotine from mount but Poole is in no mood to give up. Underwood fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Underwood looking to control and managing it successfully. Poole is trying desperately to improve position. Underwood could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Underwood working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Poole really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Underwood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Poole tries to hold on but Underwood pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poole might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Underwood haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Poole is squirming around, avoiding Underwood's attempts to control the action. Underwood looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Underwood has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Underwood raining down hammerfists from mount. Underwood takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Poole tries to hold on but Underwood postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Underwood content just to control the position here. Poole taking shots to the head. Underwood punishing his opponent with strikes. Underwood is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Poole can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Underwood sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Domingo Underwood dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Poole tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Underwood checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. It looked like Underwood was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Poole. Poole closes the distance and pushes Underwood back into the cage. Poole escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Poole. Underwood closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Poole to the mat! Poole manages to get full guard. Poole is looking to stand back up but Underwood counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Poole. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Poole tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Underwood seems content to control. Poole trying to control from the bottom.
Underwood is looking for a kimura but Poole is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Underwood to get the leverage. Underwood looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Underwood is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Poole can do to turn this around?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Poole scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Underwood manages to mount him!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Underwood looking to isolate an arm here. Poole doesn't see it coming and as Underwood extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Underwood!
