The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh Khema changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Singh Rajput tries to avoid it but Singh Khema manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Singh Rajput to the ground. Singh Rajput escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Singh Khema closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Singh Khema lands in his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singh Khema really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Singh Rajput escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Singh Khema gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Singh Khema slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Singh Rajput rushes Singh Khema and presses him up against the cage.
Singh Rajput has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Singh Khema avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Singh Khema is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Singh Rajput is defending well for now.
Singh Rajput tries to pull guard but Singh Khema won't allow it.

Singh Khema ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Singh Khema no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Singh Rajput wants to get up but he can't break Singh Khema's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Singh Khema has control of Singh Rajput's left arm, preventing Singh Rajput from doing any damage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Nagarjun Sagar Singh Khema showed his dominance in that final round.
