Flores comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Napalm & Erruption- In San Francisco kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! William Henry Bonney has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Henry Bonney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ric Flores!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Bonney checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Flores tries for a takedown but Bonney circles away easily
and Bonney counters with a straight right hand.
Bonney misses with a few strikes there.

Flores drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Bonney throws Flores to one side and escapes!
We've been told by Bonney's head coaches at Broken Halo's -Temple of Illumination that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Flores throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
As Flores looks to move away, Bonney throws a big counter combo but Flores just gets out of the way.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Flores dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bonney. That did some damage!
Nice body punch from Flores.
Ric Flores seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bonney throws a leg kick that is checked
and Flores connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Flores tries to clinch up but Bonney circles away and keeps his distance.
Flores throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bonney scores with a crisp jab that stopped Flores in his tracks.
Flores misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bonney.
Flores fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bonney is looking to clinch.
Flores throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Flores throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bonney cracks Flores on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Flores falls backwards against the cage. Bonney follows up with more strikes that drop Flores to his knees. Bonney keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Flores! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Henry Bonney!
William Henry Bonney took some time post fight to say the following; 'Norman, I told you I would make you famous! But unfortunately for you it means I took your belt! Broken Halo Pride!'.
