Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chad Warner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daniel Bowden!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warner doesn't manage to clinch there - Bowden circles away.
Warner pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Bowden scores with a takedown into Warner's guard.
Warner wants to stand up but Bowden is controlling him.
Bowden trying to control the position from guard on top but Warner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bowden trying to stand up but can't free himself from Warner's guard.
Warner wants to stand up but Bowden is controlling him.

Bowden thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Warner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bowden's guard.

Bowden has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Warner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Warner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Warner tries to free his leg and advance position but Bowden is retaining full guard.
Warner postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Warner could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Warner stops Bowden from standing up.

Bowden kicks Warner off and gets to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Warner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Warner misses with a looping left.
Warner keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bowden looks gassed!
Bowden blocks a head kick by Warner.
Warner lands a head kick. Bowden smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Bowden slips under a jab.
Warner missing with a left hand there. Bowden was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bowden blocks a jab.
Warner throws a shot from downtown. Bowden moves away and avoids it.
Warner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A head kick from Warner lands but Bowden takes it in his stride.
Bowden with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Warner to score with a decent uppercut.


Bowden is rocked!


It looks like Daniel Bowden has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warner lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chad Warner!
