These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a wild body shot.
Hapitchou flicks out a counter leg kick but Silva steps away.
Hapitchou connects with a crisp jab.
Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hapitchou can pounce on him.
Silva jabs at Hapitchou's body.
Silva closes the distance but Hapitchou moves to the side
and Hapitchou connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hapitchou scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hapitchou counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hapitchou bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Silva's head.

Silva is rocked!

It looks like Kron Silva has been cut.
Hapitchou lands an uppercut, right on the button! Silva tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
