The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone tries to bum rush Saturday with a series of wild strikes but Saturday uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Saturday drives through and clinches with Stone against the cage.

Saturday escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horrible takedown attempt by Saturday or perhaps it was just good defense by Stone, which made it look bad.
Saturday tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Saturday wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Stone manages to pass to side control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stone connects with a nice short shot to Saturday's temple.

Saturday has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stone is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Saturday gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Saturday has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Stone escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Stone!
Jeff Saturday has got the better of the ground game so far.
Saturday tries to bench press Stone off him but Stone keeps the position.
