Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Combs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexis Brouillard!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brouillard closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Combs to the mat! Combs manages to get full guard.
Combs manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Combs jumps guard and drags Brouillard to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Combs working for a triangle but Brouillard defends it easily.
Combs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brouillard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brouillard is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Combs throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Combs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Combs keeping moving, preventing Brouillard from controlling successfully.
Brouillard content to stall in guard here.
Combs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brouillard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brouillard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Brouillard is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Combs throws a few punches from the bottom. Brouillard seems unphased and he's got hold of a leg now - he's dropped back for a heel hook! He's got it! This fight is aaaaaaaaaall over!
