Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juno Marz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Huginius!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marz dives in and grabs Huginius's left leg, looking for a takedown. Huginius pushes down on Marz's head and hops out.
Huginius shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Marz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Marz wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Huginius manages to pass to side control.
Huginius lands with a punch from half guard.
Huginius is nestled in close to Marz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Marz wants to control but Huginius is keeping busy.
Huginius working over Marz with some ground and pound. Marz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Huginius is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Huginius is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Marz defends it well.
Marz trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Huginius working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Huginius working for a submission but Marz is keeping him at bay.

Marz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Huginius manages to capitalize on a mistake by Marz to take his back!

Huginius is landing with strikes from the back.
Marz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Huginius on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Huginius cracks Marz with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Marz from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Huginius is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Huginius has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Huginius is looking for the choke from the back position but Marz is controlling his hands well.

Marz is trying to defend against the choke here but Huginius has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Huginius Tightens the hold and Marz taps out furiously! Huginius displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
