Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcos Martinez! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zimbardo on his heels. He'll look to pass Zimbardo's guard now, I'm sure. Martinez has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Rio. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Zimbardo controlling the position. Zimbardo trying to keep a closed guard but Martinez is proving a slippery customer.
Martinez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Zimbardo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Zimbardo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Zimbardo! Martinez is trying to get back to half guard. Martinez is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zimbardo off and has taken his back! Zimbardo just trying to survive but Martinez is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Martinez is trying to stick to Zimbardo's back but Zimbardo is turning into Martinez. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Martinez's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Zimbardo. Zimbardo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Martinez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zimbardo defends well. Zimbardo stops Martinez from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martinez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zimbardo defends it easily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Martinez is on top in guard.
Zimbardo pulls Martinez in close to his closed guard and prevents Martinez from doing any damage or advancing position. Martinez throws a big right hand that misses. Martinez throws a big right hand that misses. Martinez trying to control but Zimbardo is working from the bottom. Martinez trying to move into half guard but instead Zimbardo has managed to sweep!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martinez looking for a triangle here. Zimbardo is fighting it but it looks tight! Martinez pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Zimbardo is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Marcos Martinez!
