Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Bourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liam Bourne is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Bourne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keith Stone!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone closes the distance and pushes Bourne back into the ropes.
Bourne tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stone smiles and moves away.

Bourne gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bourne gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Stone looking for a guillotine here but Bourne defends easily.
Stone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bourne is one step ahead there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bourne's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stone lands a nice short elbow.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Stone's corner calls for a 1-2. Stone obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Bourne goes for a double leg but Stone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Stone continues to drive forward.

Bourne's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nice uppercut lands for Stone. That snapped Bourne's head back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bourne trying to control the position but instead, Stone has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bourne into the ropes.
Bourne tries to circle away but Stone has him pinned against the ropes.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Stone is adopting a defensive guard.
Stone controls Bourne momentarily but Bourne frees himself.

Stone has momentary wrist control but Bourne slips an elbow through the middle.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Keith Stone dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Stone lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bourne has a takedown stuffed.
Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stone stalks Bourne and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bourne's face. Bourne staggers backwards, shaken.
Keith Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stone tries to keep at a distance but Bourne has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bourne wants to get back to striking at distance but Stone won't allow it.
Nice body punch from Stone - that landed with a thud.
Bourne wants a takedown but no success here.
Bourne changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stone fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Stone's coach down at Animal House was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Stone has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Stone is pushing down on Bourne's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bourne is fighting to maintain full guard but Stone has managed to sneak the leg through.

Stone is looking for a kimura but Bourne is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stone to get the leverage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Stone lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bourne backs up against the ropes.
Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bourne moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stone throws a solid leg kick but Bourne takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stone.
Bourne shoots in looking for a takedown but Stone manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bourne's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Stone lands the left hand.
Bourne fails with a takedown attempt.

Bourne darts in and clinches Stone up against the ropes.
Bourne managing to block the knees to the body from Stone.
Bourne is looking to break free of the clinch but Stone has double underhooks.
Bourne blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Stone is pressed up against the ropes. Bourne has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stone down to the mat. Stone avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Stone forces Bourne back against the ropes and clinches.
Bourne is trying to maintain a safe position but Stone gets an underhook and turns Bourne into the ropes.

Bourne jumps guard but Stone turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.

Stone lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stone is taking a breather. Bourne says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Stone's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Stone stops Bourne from getting back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Stone throws a leg kick but Bourne checks it.

Bourne shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side.
Stone feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bournes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bourne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stone pinned against the ropes. Stone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Liam Bourne is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Bourne decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stone's guard.
Bourne won't allow Stone to sweep him here.
Stone has Bourne pulled in close to control his posture.
Bourne looking to sit in guard and control but Stone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bourne can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stone controls the pace.
