Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ezra Mcfadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lauri Tikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lauri Tikka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ezra Mcfadden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lauri Tikka! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tikka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Mcfadden has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Tikka is on him like a limpet, forcing Mcfadden back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Mcfadden's face as he tries to break the clinch. Tikka gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Mcfadden is looking to control Tikka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mcfadden avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tikka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tikka is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mcfadden is just riding it out for now. Tikka eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tikka is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mcfadden has managed to free his arm - good work. Mcfadden is trying to stand.
Mcfadden desperately trying to maintain half guard. Mcfadden is trying to control but can't.
Tikka seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Mcfadden has recovered full guard. Mcfadden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tikka on the ground. Tikka wants to pass the guard but Mcfadden is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mcfadden preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mcfadden wants to sweep here but Tikka controlling him for the moment. Mcfadden seems keen to control Tikka's posture. Tikka throws a big elbow that misses. Tikka trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcfadden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Tikka pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcfadden is keeping the position for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Tikka looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tikka keeps control of Mcfadden as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mcfadden wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tikka has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mcfadden regains guard immediately. Tikka should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Mcfadden looking to control.
Mcfadden looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tikka is one step ahead there. Tikka pushes down on Mcfadden's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tikka is working for a kimura but Mcfadden is defending it quite comfortably.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mcfadden is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lauri Tikka dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tikka closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tikka lands in his opponent's guard. Tikka drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mcfadden manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tikka has Mcfadden in his guard.
Tikka has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mcfadden is looking to work some ground and pound but Tikka has wrist control. Tikka looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcfadden has gone for a leg lock! Tikka slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mcfadden's guard. Mcfadden wants to sweep here but Tikka controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tikka tries to free his leg and advance position but Mcfadden is retaining full guard. Mcfadden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tikka is breathing heavily. Tikka drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mcfadden looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mcfadden looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mcfadden!
Lauri Tikka has got the better of the ground game so far. Tikka regains half guard. Tikka is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mcfadden pulls his head out easily. Mcfadden is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tikka is just riding it out for now. Mcfadden eventually gives up the hold. Mcfadden is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcfadden missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Mcfadden is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Tikka wants to improve his position but Mcfadden is controlling well.
Tikka is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mcfadden's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mcfadden's back! Mcfadden trying to control the hands but Tikka breaks the grip. Mcfadden is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Mcfadden is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Mcfadden's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mcfadden manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tikka's guard. Nice work there by Mcfadden.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mcfadden's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Tikka manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcfadden manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tikka working for a triangle but Mcfadden defends it easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcfadden drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mcfadden jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Lauri Tikka will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Mcfadden rushes Tikka and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mcfadden's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Mcfadden wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mcfadden is looking to break free of the clinch but Tikka has double underhooks. Mcfadden is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tikka has clasped his hands together around Mcfadden's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Tikka takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tikka is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mcfadden is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Tikka postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Tikka wants to get back to full guard but Mcfadden has passed into side control. Mcfadden is putting a hurting on Tikka here, landing some big shots from side control. Mcfadden wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tikka, who protects the arm well. Mcfadden working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tikka is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mcfadden's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tikka has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Mcfadden should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Tikka has tightened it up now! Mcfadden should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
