Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Detective Tequila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tong Po looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tong Po!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Detective Tequila!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tequila tries to close the distance and clinch up but Po swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tequila shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tequila was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Po avoids a series of strikes thrown by Tequila.
Tequila has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Po wants to hold on but Tequila pushes him away.

Tequila tries to control but Po wriggling away.
Po is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Po is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Tequila lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Po is squirming around, avoiding Tequila's attempts to control the action.
Tequila fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tequila sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Po wants to control but Tequila is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tequila looking to control but Po is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Tequila throwing strikes here but Po is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Tequila can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Po is looking to escape.
Tequila tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Tequila looking to ground and pound but Po is blocking nicely.

Tequila working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Tequila throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Po because Tequila loaded up on that one.
Tequila postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Po looks a forlorn figure.
Po working to try and regain half guard.
Po wants to hold on but Tequila pushes him away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Po is looking to improve his position but Tequila isn't that keen on the idea.
Tequila looking to finish Po with some ground and pound. This is bad for Po!
Tequila lands a nice shot to the head.
Tequila is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Tequila controlling his opponent.
Tequila is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Po can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Detective Tequila dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tequila is looking to clinch.
Tequila drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tequila throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Po wants to hit a switch here but Tequila passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Po there!
BOOM! Tequila connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Poor strikes thrown by Tequila there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Tequila tries to control but Po wriggling away.
Tequila avoids the attempt from Po to control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Po is squirming around, avoiding Tequila's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tequila lands a heavy elbow.
Po tries to hold on but Tequila postures up.
Po can't escape the position.
Tequila lands a big shot there that rocks Po but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Tequila looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Po is trying to escape the mount.
Tequila with a couple of short strikes.

Tequila landing shots from mount.
Po is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Tequila has taken his back.
Tequila working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Po is doing well to defend. Tequila seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Po is forced to tap and this one is over!
