Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Idi oCrazy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Vyacheslav Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxim Vyacheslav Volkov!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov's jab looks to have found its range, popping oCrazy under the eye.
oCrazy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Volkov doesn't seem bothered though.
oCrazy misses with a hook to the body
and Volkov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
oCrazy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
oCrazy with a nice cross.
It looks like Maxim Vyacheslav Volkov has been cut.
Volkov misses with an uppercut. oCrazy saw that one coming.
oCrazy tries to counter with a takedown but Volkov is quick to defend against it.
A looping hook to the body misses from oCrazy. Volkov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Volkov was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
oCrazy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
oCrazy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Volkov is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Volkov is trying to control the position but oCrazy postures up.

Volkov wants to sweep but no luck.
oCrazy being controlled here momentarily.
Volkov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
oCrazy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Volkov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
oCrazy is fighting to break Volkov's control of his arms but Volkov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
oCrazy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Volkov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
oCrazy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
oCrazy throws a low kick but it's checked well by Volkov.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
oCrazy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Volkovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Volkov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
oCrazy tries a low kick but Volkov avoids it.
Good leg kick by Volkov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Volkov lands with a kick to the ribs.
A jab from Volkov finds it's way through oCrazy's defenses.
oCrazy checks a low kick from Volkov.
Volkov thuds his right hand into oCrazy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
oCrazy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Volkov manages to avoid it.
oCrazy misses the shot to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Volkov.
oCrazy is looking to wear down Volkov with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
oCrazy misses with an uppercut.
Volkov takes a jab right on the kisser.
Volkov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
oCrazy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Volkov sizes up oCrazy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Volkov cracks oCrazy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
oCrazy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Volkov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
oCrazy throws the kick towards the body but Volkov avoids it.
oCrazy avoids the body shot from Volkov.
Volkov scores with a sloppy right hand. oCrazy should have avoided that one.
Volkov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! oCrazy had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
oCrazy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Volkov, right into the meat.
oCrazy tries to move into range but Volkov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nice body kick from Volkov.
oCrazy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Volkov. Volkov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
oCrazy looks to land a left hand but Volkov moved out of range nicely.
Volkov cracks oCrazy with an open hand slap.
Volkov lands a nice shot that snaps oCrazy's head back.
oCrazy is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Volkov throws a shot to the body.
Oh oCrazy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
oCrazy swings for the body but Volkov moves out of range.
Volkov appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Volkov lands with a cross.

Volkov drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks oCrazy right on the button. oCrazy goes down! Volkov follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Volkov gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maxim Vyacheslav Volkov!
