Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, David Sale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nelson Mc Donald! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Sale as Mc Donald shoots in. Sale pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mc Donald will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mc Donald looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nice body kick there by Sale. Mc Donald misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. David Sale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Mc Donald. A momentary lapse in concentration from Sale enables Mc Donald to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sale manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Sale is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Sale is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mc Donald is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Mc Donald tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sale wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Mc Donald keeps trying to improve his position. Sale is looking to take a break and control but Mc Donald is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mc Donald tries to buck Sale off but Sale is having none of it.

Mc Donald wants to get back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sale seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mc Donald does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mc Donald looking for submissions off his back. Sale is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Sale dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mc Donald dives in for a single leg takedown but Sale sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mc Donald walks into a stiff left hand from Sale. Sale looks to land a combination but Mc Donald avoids it well. Mc Donald looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. David Sale is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A nice combination there by Sale.
Sale defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mc Donald. Sale appears to be looking for a big counter. A punch lands to the side of Mc Donald 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mc Donald is rocked! Sale looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mc Donald is still on wobbly legs! Can Sale finish him? Mc Donald is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Sale just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Mc Donald has gone limp and this one is over!
