Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Villareal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Rockolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockolla has chosen My Posse's on Broadway as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ace Rockolla!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Villareal darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Villareal is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rockolla sees it coming and defends easily.
Rockolla wants to control but Villareal is keeping busy.

Villareal looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rockolla moves into full guard.

Villareal is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rockolla is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rockolla has escaped and now he's on top!

Villareal has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rockolla can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Villareal looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Rockolla passes into side control.
Villareal looks to move to half guard but instead Rockolla has passed into mount! Damn!
Rockolla looking to control and managing it successfully.
Villareal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Rockolla can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Villareal is looking to escape.

Villareal sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Rockolla is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Villareal has managed to free his arm - good work.

Villareal is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rockolla is nestled in close to Villareal, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

BOOM! Rockolla connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Rockolla looking to control but Villareal is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Villareal is in all sorts of trouble here.

Rockolla is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Villareal is trying desperately to improve position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Villareal shoots for a double leg takedown but Rockolla sprawls well. He's pushed Villareal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Villareal changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rockolla looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Villareal is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rockolla has escaped the position, nice work there.
Rockolla manages to work his way to half guard, despite Villareal's best efforts.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rockolla is looking for a sweep. Villareal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rockolla manages to get to full guard.

Rockolla is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Villareal pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rockolla is keeping the position for now.
Rockolla looking for a sweep. Not yet Rockolla, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rockolla utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Villareal drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rockolla looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rockolla looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rockolla!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rockolla wants to control but Villareal is keeping him busy.
Villareal is trying to work for a sweep but Rockolla has mounted him!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rockolla works his way into full mount!
Villareal can't escape the position.
Rockolla breaks from Villareal's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ace Rockolla showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Villareal's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Rockolla misses with a low kick.
Villareal fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Villareal looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Rockolla comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Villareal takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Rockolla scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Villareal is rocked!
Look low, kick high! Rockolla uses the oldest trick in the book to send Villareal tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Rockolla is absolutely delighted - when Villareal wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
