The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikon dives in for a single leg takedown but Carvalho sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nikon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nikon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carvalho paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Nikon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gustavo Carvalho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sekonic Nikon.
Nikon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Carvalho counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Sekonic Nikon has been cut.
Carvalho keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Carvalho.
Nikon is rocked!
Nikon walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Carvalho swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
