Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lamont Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peterson's waist but Peterson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Edgar off to one side.
Peterson circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Peterson counter with a right hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Peterson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Franky Edgar has been cut.
Edgar misses with a body shot
and Peterson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Edgar is looking to clinch but Peterson is avoiding it.
Peterson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Edgar. Edgar circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Edgar ducks right into an uppercut from Peterson.
Edgar is rocked!
Peterson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Edgar to the canvas! Edgar doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Peterson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
