Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trent Colton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Johnstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Johnstone's choice of entrance music: Living is a Problem. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trent Colton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Johnstone! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colton shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnstone tries to sprawl out of it but Colton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Johnstone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Johnstone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Colton fails with the takedown. Colton shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnstone sprawls well. He's pushed Colton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trent Colton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnstone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Johnstone throwing shots but missing, from side control. Johnstone looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Johnstone is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Colton has escaped the position, nice work there. Johnstone working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Colton is pushing Johnstone's head away, looking to escape. Johnstone manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colton tries to get back to half guard but can't. Colton is trying to buck Johnstone off. Johnstone is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Colton has escaped the position, nice work there. Johnstone stands up. Colton is breathing heavily. Colton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Colton is looking for a triangle but Johnstone pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colton wants to stand and escape but Johnstone is having none of it. Johnstone stands and steps away. Colton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Nice cross by Johnstone. Colton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Trent Colton has been cut. Johnstone gets the takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnstone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Colton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Colton is looking for a sweep. Johnstone tries for a kimura but Colton is defending well. Colton manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnstone's best efforts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnstone is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Colton looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Colton is not content to let Johnstone control the position. Colton looking for submissions off his back. Johnstone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Colton is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Johnstone dominated that round. The cut man is working on Trent Colton's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
A nice combination there by Johnstone.
Johnstone gets a takedown into half guard. Johnstone is looking for a kimura but Colton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Johnstone to get the leverage. Johnstone decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnstone. A right-left combo lands from Colton. Colton shoots in for a takedown but Johnstone shows good takedown defense. Colton tries for a takedown but Johnstone circles away easily and Johnstone counters with a two punch combo. Johnstone throws a series of punches but Colton moves out of range. Colton doesn't succeed with the takedown and Johnstone counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trent Colton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnstone drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Johnstone as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Colton screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Johnstone! Nice submission victory there!
