Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Lisario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight comes to the cage accompanied by Protector of the Earh. The crowd seem to be enjoying Lisario's choice of entrance music: I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas. Eric Knight has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lisario tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Knight manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lisario blocks a leg kick.
Lisario drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Knight defends it well.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Lisario has eaten all the pies!

Lisario breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knight displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lisario.

Lisario is trying to force a seperation but Knight has the dominant position.
Knight is pressed up against the cage. Lisario has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Knight down to the mat. Knight avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Lisario is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lisario flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lisario tries to clinch but Knight is having none of it.

Knight pushes Lisario up against the cage in a clinch.
Lisario is trying to push Knight away but Knight has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Lisario is trying to break free.

Knight breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lisario is defended easily by Knight.
It looked like Knight was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lisario.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

It looked like Knight was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Lisario lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lisario dives in for a single leg takedown but Knight sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Lisario jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Knight walks away with a smile on his face. Lisario gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lisario shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knight but Knight pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lisario really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
