Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Solis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santa Claus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Claus 's choice of entrance music: Kurtis Blow Christmas Rap. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claus gets a double leg takedown into Solis's guard.
Solis has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Claus off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Claus fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Solis to the ground. Claus is now in Solis's guard.
Claus being controlled here momentarily.
Claus looking to sit in guard and control but Solis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Claus has his hands on Solis's head, controlling the position.
Solis stands up from Claus 's guard - Solis perhaps looking for a knockout.

Claus lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Alexander Solis has been cut.
Solis lands a front kick.
Solis looks for a takedown but Claus sprawls well.
Solis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Claus tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Solis wants to get up but he can't break Claus 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Solis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Claus , up you get!

Claus tries to counter by closing the distance.
Claus throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Solis was covering up waiting for the punch and Claus finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Claus tries to stand but Solis is controlling from the bottom.
Solis seems keen to control Claus 's posture.
Solis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Claus is one step ahead there.

Solis gets to his feet. Claus looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Solis throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Solis pushes Claus away with a front kick.
Claus takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Solis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Claus to the mat! Claus manages to get full guard.
Claus is wriggling around but Solis manages to pass to half guard.
Claus has hold of Solis's hands but Solis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Solis decides to stand and escape the position.
Solis thows a body kick. Claus tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Solis throws a front kick that sends Claus stumbling back into the cage.
Solis throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Solis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Claus gets a double leg takedown into Solis's guard.
Solis manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Solis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Claus uses from the top position.
Claus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Claus blocks the body kick.
Claus gets tackled into the cage by Solis. Solis maintains the clinch.
Claus has Solis pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Claus pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Solis tumbling to the mat - Claus dives into Solis's guard.
Claus trying to control the position from guard on top but Solis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Solis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Claus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Solis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Solis pulls Claus in close to his closed guard and prevents Claus from doing any damage or advancing position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Solis has his feet on Claus 's thighs here. He's pushed Claus off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Claus screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
