Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Kusuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kusuma has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Noah Rocha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anthony Kusuma! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rocha fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kusuma looks winded! Kusuma shoots for a takedown but Rocha saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. As Kusuma tries to get set, Rocha tries to push him back and clinch up but Kusuma manages to avoid the attempt. Kusuma takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Rocha closes the distance and clinches. Kusuma on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Kusuma jumps guard but Rocha stands there with Kusuma around his waist. Kusuma gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kusuma! Kusuma just content to control the position. Rocha is trying to get back to his feet. Rocha misses with a strike from the bottom. Rocha is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kusuma is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rocha has escaped the position, nice work there. Kusuma is looking to take a break and control but Rocha is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Anthony Kusuma will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Anthony Kusuma's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Rocha has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kusuma uses from the top position. Rocha has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kusuma can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rocha is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Rocha is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kusuma gets his way!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rocha is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it. Rocha tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kusuma manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kusuma drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rocha defends it well. Rocha darts in and clinches Kusuma up against the cage.
