These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drotski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Drotski half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Khanidov throws a lazy uppercut
and Drotski counters with a single leg into guard. Khanidov didn't expect that.
Drotski postures up.
Khanidov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drotski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Drotski drops back looking for a leg! Khanidov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Khanidov manages to kick Drotski off! Drotski jumps back into Khanidov's guard.
Drotski has gone for a leg lock! Khanidov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Drotski's guard.
Khanidov wants to pass the guard but Drotski is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drotski is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Khanidov rolls with it to try and escape but Drotski cranks on the arm and Khanidov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
