Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tat Moh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tat Moh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
34 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Halo! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moh throws a chopping leg kick but Halo manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Halo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Halo misses with a straight left. Halo throws a leg kick which misses Moh's front leg but catches the back leg as Moh tries to avoid it. Moh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Moh connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Halo with a hook.
It looks like Tat Moh has been cut. An inside leg kick lands from Halo. Moh chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Halo can pounce on him.
Halo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Moh has Halo up against the cage in a clinch.
Moh lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moh is looking to take a break and control but Halo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Moh content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Halo is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moh keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Halo is trying to get back to full guard. Moh throwing shots but Halo is blocking nicely. Moh lands with a punch from half guard. Moh trying to control the action but Halo is working from the bottom. Halo tries to get to full guard but Moh has control of the leg. Nice strikes from Moh there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halo is pressing down on Moh's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Moh throws a strike but Halo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Halo stopping the sweep attempt from Moh. Halo wanted to stand there but Moh had control of the position. Moh trying to keep a closed guard but Halo is proving a slippery customer.
Halo wants to stand but Moh is controlling his posture from full guard. Moh has control of Halo's left arm, preventing Halo from doing any damage. Halo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Halo trying to stand up but can't free himself from Moh's guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Moh connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Halo's hands. Halo lands the left hand. Moh throws a nice outside leg kick. Halo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moh. Moh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Moh throws a shot from downtown. Halo moves away and avoids it. Moh takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Moh dives in for a single leg takedown but Halo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A decent looking cross lands there for Halo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moh throws a lazy body kick and Halo counters with a good, hard body kick but Moh shrugs it off. Tat Moh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moh with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Halo to score with a decent uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Moh throws a big shot that misses. Moh scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Moh working the ground and pound but Halo is defending the strikes. Moh tries to score with some ground and pound. Halo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Moh working away. Moh tries to advance to mount but Halo denies him. An elbow from Moh crashes against the mat.
Moh tries to move into full mount but can't pass Halo's legs. Halo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Moh is controlling him well. Halo prevents Moh from improving position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Michael Halo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tat Moh's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Moh slips under a jab from Halo. Moh throws the left hand but Halo avoids the punch easily. Michael Halo seems to be getting the better of the standup. A swing and a miss from Halo. Moh avoids a kick to the body.
Moh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Halo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Halo walks into a stiff left hand from Moh. Moh with a hook. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Moh checks a leg kick. Halo lands a really nice looking cross but Moh seems unphased.
Moh scores with a sloppy right hand. Halo should have avoided that one. Moh tries to clinch but Halo moves out of range. Moh punishes Halo's body with a nice straight punch. Moh scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Halo is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moh lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Halo is still on wobbly legs! Can Moh finish him? Moh looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Moh trying to control the position from guard on top but Halo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moh stands up over Halo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Halo trying to control the position.
Halo seems to have recovered his senses. Moh won't allow Halo to sweep him here. Moh pushes down on Halo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Halo wants to get back to his feet.
Moh landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Halo is looking to improve his position.
Moh works his way into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moh landing punches. Moh looking to control but Halo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Halo in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Moh fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Halo tries to reverse the position but Moh maintains control. Moh working Halo over with strikes here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moh trying to control but Halo is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big strike lands for Moh! That's really hurt Halo and he's turned his back - Moh keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Moh jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tat Moh! As Tat Moh got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: We are told that talent creates its own opportunities. Yet, it sometimes seems that intense desire creates not only its own opportunities, but its own talents, as well.'.
